Office hours are from 9 am until 3 pm Monday through Friday unless otherwise noted in the bulletin.

Church Gates heading

The church gates are opened at 7 am and closed at 9 pm unless the building is in use.

Registration is important. Please call (636-0546), email, or stop by the office.

Prayer Line heading

Please call Elaine Ware at 636-5791 to request a name be put on or if you wish to be a part of the prayer line.

Liturgy Intentions heading

Place your intention in a "Liturgy Intention" envelope found on the bulletin table and put it in the collection basket or leave it at the Parish Office. You may also call or email it.

About Our Church

Our pastor is the Very Rev. Donald X. Higgs. For information on our church staff, click here.


Our church is located just outside the city limits of Elkins, West Virginia, off of the Beverly five lane highway or route 219/250 South. Elkins is the county seat of Randolph County in the beautiful northern mountains of the Potomac Highlands Region of West Virginia.


The mission of the members of Saint Brendan Parish, as stewards of God's creation, is to strive to work for the greater glory of God, in our families, our parish, and our community. For more about what we believe in, click here.


Saint Brendan Catholic Church is part of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston under Bishop Michael J. Bransfield who was was ordained and installed as the Eighth Bishop of our Diocese, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Wheeling, WV on February 22, 2005.
